Get Ready for Panagbenga 2023: A Celebration of Color, Culture, and Community

On February 5, 12, and 19, there will be a showcase of Panagbenga Sundays on Session Road. On February 11, 14, and 15, participating schools will compete in a flower arrangement and landscaping competition. On February 12, there will be a cultural show, fitness frenzy, and a kite-flying challenge at Melvin Jones Grandstand and Football Grounds.
From February 16 to 18, the Philippine Military Academy will hold its Alumni Homecoming, and on February 18, a cultural dance competition will take place at Melvin Jones Grandstand and Football Grounds. On February 19, visitors can enjoy the Fluvial Parade and Mardi Gras at the Lake at Burnham Park and Session Road. From February 25 to 26, there will be a Festival Sponsors Row, and on February 25, the Grand Street Dance Parade will take place, followed by the Grand Float Parade on February 26.
From February 27 to March 5, visitors can enjoy the beauty of Session Road in Bloom, and on February 24, there will be a tribute to the father of Panagbenga, Atty. Damaso E. Bangaoet Jr. A statue unveiling ceremony will take place at Panagbenga Park, South Drive. On March 3 and 4, the Flower-tee Golf Classic will be held at the Baguio Country Club, followed by Pony Boy's Day at Wright Park on March 4. The event will culminate with the Awarding and Closing Ceremonies at Melvin Jones Grandstand and Football Grounds on March 5, followed by a Grand Aerial Fireworks Display at Session Road and Burnham Park.
Panagbenga 2023 Highlights
The Grand Street Dancing Parade and the Grand Float Parade, which are considered to be the highlights of the festival, will return this year after being canceled in 2022. Visitors can also look forward to the Opening Parade and the Grand Fireworks Display, which will provide a breathtaking finale to the event.
